As long as the computer's processor supports virtualization, the user can enable this feature through BIOS. The quicker the game runs, the better the experience. However, if your computer can handle this type of technology, you will receive a boost of extra performance, and the emulator will run smoother and faster. There are so many fun mobile games that aren't available on the computer platform. The Windows platform might have many entertaining video games, but we can say the same thing about the Android operating system. These all seem to be related issues but I'm not sure what the source is.BlueStacks App Player is a program designed to emulate the Android OS allowing the user to run all kinds of apps and games inside Windows or MAC systems. I also noticed that the home button started working again, and that the pull down notification bar had started displaying notifications again - it was only after it started filling up again that I realised it had been blank since the issue started.Īnyway everything was working fine for a while, but I've noticed today that the Pending issue is back when it comes to updates/downloads, the home/recent apps button isn't working, and the notification menu is blank. However a weird thing happened during one of my many restarts yesterday - upon starting up, I saw the apps I had uninstalled after this issue began had all reappeared, and the apps that wouldn't update were all updating. Thanks for the reply - I tried that prior to posting here, cleared Play Store data along with the caches of other apps and it didn't fix it. If anyone has any suggestions short of uninstalling/reinstalling I would be most appreciative! Not sure if this is related but noticed about 3 weeks ago the Home button stopped working - I had to start backing out of apps fully rather than being able to switch between them, it was a minor thing but now I'm wondering if that has anything to do with it? I'm running the most recent version of Bluestacks (I'm also running it on a desktop and everything is downloading/updating as normal there). The apps I still have are all running fine but nothing I've done so far has rectified the update issue. It wasn't a storage issue but I decided to delete a few apps anyway, and then found after doing so I couldn't redownload them, or download any other app for that matter - everything is hung on Pending. I force stopped everything, cleared all caches, restarted Bluestacks & the laptop it's running on but to no avail. I've been using Bluestacks 5 for a couple of months with no issues until last night - one of the games I have pushed a small update, but when I went to try and download it (manually for the first time, auto update has always done this in the past), it hung on Pending indefinitely.įirst I thought it was down to the specific app because the update had just been pushed, and I'm in beta for it so thought that might have been an issue, but checking out my app list I saw I had a bunch of undownloaded updates for other apps (that were still running fine without them), and whenever I tried to get any, these too hung on Pending.
